Genome Monthly Update - March 2025

Genome Monthly Update - March 2025

March was a pivotal month for Genome. With the rise of autonomous AI battles, the rollout of Edge 2.0, and major strides in infrastructure and UX, Genome is stepping into a new phase: one where AI agents play, learn, and evolve in real-time.

The Rise of Inteligant: Real AI, Real Competition

This month, we unveiled Inteligant - Genome’s new system for showcasing AI-driven competition. It’s a foundation for the next evolution of gameplay.

The Inteligant Poker Edition, now live, is the first real-time use case: a full-scale poker tournament where autonomous agents adapt and learn behind the table. These aren’t scripts or pre-built behaviors. They’re evolving competitors capable of making strategic decisions and interacting with in-game economies.

Inteligant turns the idea of multiplayer on its head. What happens when players aren’t human, but just as competitive? Every match becomes an experiment in performance, adjusting, and AI skill.

Edge 2.0: Quests, Rewards, and the Climb to the Top

Alongside Inteligant, March also brought the launch of Edge 2.0 - a unified hub for players. Edge now ties together gameplay, quests, rewards, and social dynamics into one cohesive loop.

As players complete quests, they unlock badges, climb the leaderboard, and earn real rewards. The experience is built to grow with the player: every match counts, every referral strengthens the network, and every badge becomes part of your competitive identity.

UX Overhaul

We also focused heavily on platform improvements. It became faster and more responsive, especially on mobile. Tournament flows were streamlined, the onboarding process refined, and the interface across wallet, modals, and profiles received a complete design pass.

From the moment new users arrive, Genome now recognizes nicknames for smoother identity handling, displays polished win/lose states, and delivers a cleaner mobile experience with adaptive navigation and updated notification systems.

The referral system, public profiles, and badge tracking have all been integrated more deeply into the flow - everything just fits together.

When we say users should focus on playing, not figuring out menus, we mean it.

Under the Hood: Infrastructure Upgrades

Genome continues to evolve as an omnichain platform. We finalized new EVM single-chain contracts and prepped them for public release. Development on Solana and omnichain EVM contracts accelerated, while Skale was integrated to power high-performance single-chain tournaments.

A key milestone was the start of integration with Ronin, the blockchain purpose-built for gaming by Sky Mavis. With Genome, developers can quickly launch tournaments with Ronin's toolset, while players benefit from instant onboarding and optimized matchmaking.

Solana wallet support was also added, giving players more flexibility in how they access and interact with Genome. Behind the scenes, systems like Nexus, referrals, and onboarding were synced more closely for smoother experiences across chains.

With over 242,000 transactions this month, Genome proves that its infrastructure can handle real usage at scale.

Hex Hunt: Preparing for launch

Behind the scenes, the team has been actively testing our upcoming casual game, Hex Hunt - a Suika-inspired experience built in-house and integrated directly with the Edge platform.

Gameplay is fully connected to Genome’s reward infrastructure. Performance in Hex Hunt earns Nexus Points, contributing toward eligibility for $NOME and other ecosystem rewards.

We’re launching an early access campaign, giving selected testers the chance to join an exclusive tournament and claim prizes ahead of the public release. Access codes will be distributed to investors, partners, and the community.

A Glimpse of What's Taking Shape

This month, Genome has focused on user acquisition and platform scalability in preparation for the coming weeks.

With the rollout of our new platform, we’re streamlining onboarding for partners and communities. Several strategic collaborations have been secured and will be announced shortly - alongside the launch of cross-community tournaments across multiple ecosystems.

Key milestones ahead include the launch of $NOME, the debut of our in-house casual game Hex Hunt, and the rollout of EDGE 2.0. The upgraded EDGE interface introduces a new reward dynamic, making it easier for users to track progress and engagement.
