What started as a casual game is turning into a leaderboard battleground.
Hex Hunt is Genome’s fruit-stacking arcade inspired by the viral Suika Game. Players combine fruits to turn scores on the leaderboard into real rewards. Enjoy the Hex Hunt without wallet or downloads.
We allocated $150,000 worth of prizes including $NOME, NFTs, Helix Passes, plushies, and more. Every match you play moves you closer to real rewards and deeper into the ecosystem.
Every round in Hex Hunt feeds directly into Edge 2.0, our gamified testnet. In just the first 10 days:

The first high-stakes event in Hex Hunt was the Early Access Tournament, which featured a $25,000 prize pool. The top 25 players split the rewards.

Under the Hood: Infrastructure Moves
Over the past weeks, we’ve been refining the core systems that power Genome. We finalized our EVM omnichain contracts, made onboarding smoother, and added deposit support for both Avalanche and Solana.
The migration to our own L2 made the gameplay faster and cheaper. Meanwhile, development continues on multiple fronts: Solana Rust contracts, updated EVM and Solana omnichain integrations, and full-stack improvements to ensure everything performs reliably under growing load.
To support the growth, we improved UI/UX to enhance the overall experience across the platform. We transitioned to edge.genomeprotocol.com for better accessibility, redesigned profile settings for clarity and customization, and kicked off backend development for the upcoming Rooms feature - a new way for communities to connect and compete.
